Final Project

Final Project
At the Drive in: I took a picture of the Solano Drive in, put it in front of a starry background I found off the internet, I took a picture of my truck, and I scanned the picture of Mark and I that it on the screen.

Marti's Room: Looks fun don't it? This is my room, I took many different pictures and arranged them like so. Sara scanned a picture of the Bible so I took that and it is on the keyboard. I was trying to scan my ipod, but the scanner wasn't working. I took a picture of Mark and I from the internet then placed it on the computer screen.

Extra Retouch

So this one I didn't spend as much time on. I was supposed to get the x-wife out of the picture.

Original

I still think a lot of the parts are fake looking, but I just wanted to be done. I'm going to say it's unfinished.

Then I added a boarder to try and hide the faker parts. I like this one.

Retouch

WOW! This project took a lot of time. I came in early everyday pretty much. I would say the time I put into it was about 10hours or so. I would say thats a lot. I'm really happy with the way it came out. I had a hard time with the right side of the picture. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Quality of Light!

So here are the images I decided to print.

Quality of Light Retouching

I really enjoyed, but I didn't have enough time in the day or gas in my car to do all the things I was thinking of doing. I wanted to do more night shots, and maybe go out to the water when the moon was out. Well, the day I was planing to do that the clouds came. Though I didn't get to do the moon thing I got a lot of the clouds. While reviewing my images I notice faces in the clouds. At least it look like it. Use your imagination. I'll put some up for you to see. I used the eye drop tool from Photoshop to play around with the images. Before is on the top and after is on the bottom.

My Glow Worms. Before and After using the eye drop tool in Photoshop.

Ethan and his motor control car. I liked the shadow parts of this image.

Driving his car. I had this in the wrong white balance. I kinda like it blue, but it looks way better after I touched it up.

I had them put their faces up to the glass. I think it's funny.

Cute kid. I thought the eye drop did an amazing job on this image.

Tree on a hill. The retouch just lightened it up a little. Looks good.

Lockers. Not much light at all. but still looks cool.

Here is the picture with the face. Can you see it?

Resolution

This project was the most boring I thought. I did learn how to resize so that's a good thing.

Metering and Bracketing

This was a good assignment. I'm getting better at understanding how the lighting works with different shutter speeds and f stops. I don't think I did a great job on this project, but below is my favorite picture from it. I also put up my contact sheet for you all to see.

48 in 24

This project was fun, and I think I got a few interesting shots that I have never attempted before. I'll load a few up so you can see.

Mark Through Glasses

This picture I thought was very cool, because you are looking at him through glasses. Seems likes you see him from someone else's perspective.

Joey Experimenting

This just looks weird.

Palm Trees

Adam thought this picture was cool, and it has a good angle. He said someone might have this in there house.

Broken Old Television

I just love old things like this. First it was by a bunch of trees not broken, and I had be meaning to pull over and take a picture. When I finally got around to it, it wasn't there! Then I saw it all broken, and thought it was a great picture. What do you think?

Second Day Looking Great!

I knew a little bit about my camera and some technical stuff coming into this class, but today Jessamyn just clarified everything. I can't wait to start the first project. Gee, I wonder what I'm going to take pictures of?!

Oh Yeah, and I won't name the days in order anymore. Don't Worry! :D

First Day!

This is looking like a class where I'm going to learn a lot about photography, and I'm very excited for that. I'm taking this class to develop my skills as a photographer. Bring it on!
